Worship at FUMC / "First Light" Contemporary Worship Service
FUMC Gonzales First Light, Sunday Morning, 8:30 AM
The First Light Worship Service is a contemporary service built around the theme of:
Approach The Fire
Touch The Flame
Walk In The Light.
This service, started in 2002 and led by the The Last Psalm Band, plays a mix of Contemporary Worship Music from artists such as Chris Tomlin, Third Day, MercyMe among others. This worship includes multimedia, relevant messages, and a casual atmosphere.

First Light Worship Service also welcomes Mr. Joe Walker to our worship team. He has been working the sound booth with Terry and Ron. Thank you Mr. Joe for stepping up and hearing the call to help us with worship. If you are interested in helping with media or sound please contact the church office. We would love to have you on our team!

For the younger children, a nursery is provided. Children ages K-4th grade are able to attend
"Children's Church" where they will learn more about God in a kid-friendly atmosphere.
