The Grand Sweep
Starting in January, we are going to start an incredible journey together. We are going to read the bible from cover to cover. You may be saying, "I could never do that". Believe it or not, you can do it. By just reading three chapters a night, we can all read the bible together. It will take you about thirty minutes a day and in 365 days you will have read the whole book from Genesis to Revelation.

The program that we will be doing is called The Grand Sweep: 365 days from Genesis through Revelation. Each Sunday in 2012, I will be preaching from one of the scriptures verses that you read the preceding week. What a great way to journey through the bible together. You can even have Sunday school classes or small groups in your home that go right along with the reading program. Doesn't that sound exciting? The Grand Sweep is written by J. Ellsworth Kalas. He is the author of the Parables from the Back Side and teaches at Asbury Theological seminary.

If you would like, there is a Daily Response Book and a Bible Study Book that will help you on your journey. If you would like to order these books then please sign up at church today. They are $13.00 and $15.00 or you can buy them both for $25.00.
